Reproduction of a French marquoir in soft autumn colors.

Laurence Victorine Briquet was born on March 1, 1894 in Luché-Pringé, a town in the Sarthe region near La Flêche.

Laurence probably stitched her sampler around 1906, the year she turned 12.

Size : 265x306 stitches.

My version was stitched on 40ct Zweigart linen, color 3077. 

The conversion to DMC is indicated on the booklet.
